BIGPAIZAN Strikes Again!
As to what Bill Clinton would say " I feel your pain", the Bucs are crushing my heart this year. But once again BigPaizan nails it again. There's really no sense in making another video for the Miami game because it says it all for what happen against the Jags even though it was a meaningless win. I will difinitely keep track of the videos that he makes this season. It should be interesting.
Keep up the good work BigPaizan!
P.S. - This guy needs to make some Rays and Lightning videos. That would be awesome!

BREAKING NEWS: The Favre Saga Continues

I guess that there are no real stories to report on ESPN today. So ESPN had there "Brett Favre Latest" ticker on Sportcenter, saying that Favre plans on playing with the Vikings this season. Will this ever end? I was kind of hoping that he would just sign with the Bucs this year. The Bucs just don't have enough drama going on for them this year. Besides who wouldn't want Brett Favre? He's not on this year's Madden cover so the curse should be over. It seems like this saga will never end, I will have grand kids and this will still be in the headlines.

Rays Buy Part of Tuskers

ORLANDO — Over the past few years, the Tampa Bay Rays haven't been afraid to use creative methods to extend their team brand and fan base to different regions of Florida.
That objective was the main factor in the Rays' latest partnership: acquiring a minority ownership interest in the Florida franchise of the upstart United Football League, a new four-team outdoor league scheduled to debut in October.
The Florida Tuskers will be based in Orlando and will hold their inaugural season this October and November, playing a six-game schedule. They will play two home games at Orlando's Citrus Bowl, and their Oct. 30 matchup with the Las Vegas Locomotives at Tropicana Field. So I'm guessing that Stu feels that the Rays aren't going all the way to the World Series again this year. If he didn't feel this way, then he probably wouldn't risk of a double booking at the Trop in October. I don't see any real smart move in investing into the UFL. I doubt that they would be able to sell out a high school football stadium so, I don't see why even bother with it. No matter how many beers and hot dogs you sell that night, it's not going to even cover the electric bill for that night at the stadium. So I say win a couple of championships before you try to juggle several sport franchises like the Glazer's are still doing.

Saint Brooks

METAIRIE, La. - Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Derrick Brooks finally has a line on a new gig.
New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton confirmed Tuesday that Brooks is one of two linebackers who will arrive today for workouts.
"Typically we wait until they're here to comment on them, but Derrick will be one of those guys that we'll work out and Derek Smith will be the other one that we work out," Payton told reporters at the team's facility in Metairie, La.
The arrivals of Brooks and Smith were prompted by an injury to linebacker Mark Simoneau. Simoneau will be sidelined for at least several weeks with a torn triceps.
Please tell me that this not true. I would understand if it was the Patriots or the Steelers and him going to a winning team outside the division and conference to get another Super Bowl before he retires. I don't care how old the guy might be. This is not a guy that you want to face on the other side of the ball. Especially when you are thinking about starting a rookie QB. I still can't believe that the Bucs have not asked Brooks to take a hefty pay cut and just come back for a million bucks. The man is not only a legend on the field but he is a legend in the community. These are the kind of players that owners and coaches should be fighting over and not just throwing them out with the garbage. This is going to be a scary year for Tampa Bay I think. If we don't have a winning season in the next couple of years, the team just might pack up and move to Los Angelas or Vegas. So sure Brooks might be a Saint in our hearts but, I hope I never have to see him as Saint playing against the Bucs twice a year.
Football Season Is So Nice It Now Comes Twice
In about three weeks from now, the new NFL season will kick off. About a month after the NFL kicks off it's regular season, a new league called the UFL, United Football League, will kick off their inaugural season. The new league will have four teams located in Las Vegas, San Francisco, New York, and Orlando. Just yesterday the UFL announced the team name of the Las Vegas franchise. They are going to go with the name of the Las Vegas Locomotives. From today thru Thursday, the UFL will annouce the remaining team names. I was a bit shocked when I saw the team name for the franchise. I thought that they would go with something like Shooters or Mobsters to reflect the heart and soul that once controlled the city. I know that every animal has been taken or even used more than once in the NFL or college teams for their team name. I just wonder what their mascot is going to be? Could it be some old guy dressed as a conductor or could it be the character from the children's book "The Little Engine That Could"? I know that those aren't very good mascot ideas but, that is not what I am in college for. I am now curious on what the other team names will be. Will the UFL just stay away from animal names for political reasons and just name their teams after things? So I am going to do by best and predict the other three names before they reveal them starting with San Francisco.San Francisco - Energy
New York - Emperors
Orlando - Aviators
I know these sound lame but it could lamer or you could just be the Locomotives.
